If I could give 10 stars I would! I have been bringing my Mini to John for many years and I trust no one else with my car. Let me just say that he is the most KNOWLEDGEABLE, KIND, METICULOUS and HONEST mechanic I have ever encountered in my life! He explains everything to you in a way that you understand and shows you the parts he replaced and why. I just cannot express, as a woman, how refreshing it is to have a mechanic that truly takes care of you and your car. I never feel like he is trying to get me to have work done that I don’t need and he always does a fabulous job! If you have a foreign vehicle definitely take it to A&E Auto Services…you won’t regret it!

I called to get a simple quote to install and register a BMW X5 xDrive40i battery. I already purchased the battery directly from the BMW dealership, so this wasn’t anything complicated or urgent — I just needed to be register to the vehicle. The person I spoke to on the phone was unprofessional and not helpful at all. He kept repeating that he “only works with his batteries,” even after I explained multiple times that the battery was OEM from the dealership. On top of that, he couldn’t even get the vehicle model right and kept saying the wrong BMW model like he wasn’t listening. It honestly felt like I had to convince him to work on my car, and that’s not the kind of service I’m going to pay for. Instead of giving me a straight answer on pricing for installation and registration, I felt like I had to argue just to get basic information. After this experience, I wouldn’t trust these guys with my vehicle. I wanted to support a local business, but I’ll take my business to Jacksonville instead.
